When I'm home for the weekend, Saturdays are used for shopping.
As should every day, right?
This has become a fun tradition because depending on that particular Saturday, you never know what I'm looking for: a piece of jewelry, the perfect pair of heels, or something that I haven't quite decided yet. You find the best treasures when you're looking for nothing at all.
Today, I'm following suit and looking for something I find absolutely fascinating.
Beautiful coffee table books.
I haven't always been a reader, or even a book person. I started reading for fun when I was a sophomore in college, though coffee table books have never been my fancy…until now.
Lauren Conrad once said "The things you keep on your coffee table say a lot about who you are and where you've been."
As I continue to update my apartment, as part of my goals for 2014, I find myself agreeing more and more with her statement. What better way to show your personality than through books filled with beautiful people, places and fashion? I'm dying to start my own collection!
Hopefully, today on my shopping trip, I'll find something I absolutely love, something that says who I am, where I've been and where I'm going.
Are you a coffee table book kinda gal?
Love what you're reading?

I have a good number of coffee table books around my apartment - mostly art books.

I have never been a coffee table book girl until this year. I have several them on my wishlist too! I love Lauren Conrad's new beauty book.
I want to be a coffee table book girl! There are some great ones out there. I have nominated you for the Liebster award! Please check it out on my Thursday 2/20/2014 post!
