Hi Everyone! Happy Friday, and no-so-happy rainy last day at the beach for me! That's right, tomorrow we head home from our amazing Outer Banks vacation. I guess all good things must come to an end.
Nevertheless, today I'm trying a new link-up with a couple ladies called "5 on Friday," where you write a post about five things you're loving. This week in particular, it's hard to choose just five!

The first...5 on Friday!
1. These cute stationery cards at the Life is Good store!
It's no secret that I love love love great stationery. I saw this set yesterday, and though I didn't by them, I couldn't help but snap a picture of the sweet message.
2. My family spending time together!
Yes, we're on vacation together this whole week, but normally we're all trying to do our own thing, or my brother and I have invited friends along, taking away from our actual "family" time. This trip has been a great mix of both, doing what we love, and spending time with each other, fully accomplishing my goal for 2013! Woohoo!
3. The Cub this weekend!
There's something about registering for/participating in a race that gets you fired up to do anything! This coming Saturday (one week from tomorrow,) I'm doing a 7-mile race in Valle Crucis, NC. Even though I'm super nervous, I'm so excited to accomplish a new goal on my way to a half-marathon.
4. (Almost) finishing a new book!
I used to read ALL the time. It was abnormal if I wasn't finishing at least one book a week, with others on standby waiting to be read...but since I started working full-time, reading was pushed to the wayside. This vacation, I made a point to go and buy a book that I really wanted to read, and find time to actually do it. I've just about finished it too! Such a great feeling.
5. The countdown to the Fourth of July!
I love the Fourth of July! I love the food, friends, fireworks, and I can't forget the fun red, white and blue outfits that everyone wears. That was a lot of F's! The only problem, I never seem to have any cool Fourth of July plans. This year I'm determined to do something fun! I have the day of the 4th off, always making for a good time, and The Band Perry is coming to Appalachian to perform on Saturday, July 6th, so I might just make a weekend of it!
