I have always been a party planner!
Whether it was a friend's surprise birthday, a Christmas party at my church, or my very own sweet sixteen, it was never a small feat. I develop a theme, then move to the guest list, the invitations, the food and the decor. This party planning seed continued when I planned events for my sorority, as the Social Chair and the Manager of New Member Education.
It has also transitioned into my work as an Assistant Wedding Coordinator.
I am so excited to have another birthday party in the works, except this one is for a three year old! My friend Anna has a little boy named Lane, that will be turning three in November.
That's where I come in!
Anna had a ton of great ideas, I'm just here to figure out how to make them happen!
We had toyed around with the idea of a John Deere theme, or farm, but have since decided on a carnival-themed party! Doesn't that sound like so much fun for three-year-olds?!
I'm talking, popcorn, candy apples, carnival games, the works. It's going to be amazing! We're getting started this Saturday with a list of everything that we could possibly need, then going to check prices at some stores nearby! I am so excited!
You can check our progress on my Pinterest! Just look for the board called "Lane's Carnival Themed 3rd Birthday!"
Here's some of our inspiration!
The party isn't until November, so we have a while to plan, but with my first meeting with Anna this weekend, I wanted to have some ideas ready to go!
Happy Wednesday!

So precious!! Love the theme. I love planning parties - I actually have worked for a wedding planner for 2 summers!! (If I could have your job I'd die a happy girl) Have fun!
I love planning things as well. Sounds like a good theme!
I don't love planning but I loove details...:-) Can't wait to see what you will do!
I didn't know you were director of member ed! I was too :) And I LOVE party planning.. Your theme looks ah-dorable, I can't wait to see pictures from the party!
I love parties too, but I would rather leave the theme planning to the pros. For the food planning though, I would be more than happy to participate in the discussion. And if I'm involved in the planning, expect the menu to have bunch grilled seafood. =)
