I hope that you all had the most wonderful Father's Day yesterday, and had a great time honoring the fabulous men in your lives! My Dad had to work yesterday evening, but we had just enough time after church to have hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and for him to open his gifts!

I have been so excited for my Dad to open his gifts for Father's Day! I've had one of them for over a month now, and I was itching to give it to him. My Dad is a huge Tarheel basketball fan. Seriously, I think he bleeds Carolina blue. At Appalachian, I was a receptionist in the office right across the hall from the men's and women's basketball coaches. It turns out, Jason Capel, the head men's basketball coach at ASU used to play for UNC Chapel Hill during his college years. My Dad always asked about Coach Capel, how he was doing, if I'd seen him... He is a huge fan! Before I graduated, I had the idea to get a basketball and have Coach Capel sign it. I mentioned the idea to him and he told me he would love to! Score!
The other part of my Dad's gift yesterday was something that he's just recently fallen in love with...Tervis Tumbler cups! Weird right? I had a few tumblers that I had brought home from different things at school, my Dad found them and now that's all he uses! I knew adding a few to his collection would be the perfect Father's Day gift.
The gifts were a hit!
