Hi Everyone! I'm back after a short break! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
With such a busy couple days, I feel like I didn't have time to actually sit down at all!

With such a busy couple days, I feel like I didn't have time to actually sit down at all!
On Friday:
I went to class and then had a group picture with my sorority for National Wear Red Day! I hope that you decided to wear red in honor of women's heart health too! Afterward, I had lunch at Which Wich (one of my favorite places in Boone), watched a few episodes of Friday Night Lights which I've just recently discovered, and enjoyed the afternoon. I drove home later that night around 7pm.

On Saturday:
My mom and I went shopping most of the day. We picked out a baby shower gift for Kristin, my good friend from high school. It's crazy to think that people I graduated with are having babies now! Do yall ever feel like that?? It just seems like we're still too young to be having kids of our own! My family ordered a pizza and we had a nice dinner all-together at home. I went to bed around 10:30 from pure exhaustion!

On Sunday:
I woke up early for church & Sunday school. I love being able to go to church when I'm home! I always miss everyone so much. Then, I headed over to Kristin's shower around 2pm and ended up staying the whole time! I had so much fun catching up with old friends!

Me with Kristin's family! Love them!
Sunday night was spent watching the super bowl with Jake and friends. We had a very relaxed night, enjoying the game and eating lots of high-calorie foods! KFC, chips/dip, and doughnuts, OH MY! My favorite part about the game is watching the commercials and this year, I had a few favorites! I loved the dog Volkswagen one and the one for Budweiser Platinum! It just really made me want to go try one of those! As for the halftime show, I was thoroughly disappointed! I don't know if it was the horrible outfits that Madonna had on, or the songs, none of which I recognized, but next year I hope they get someone more current to perform.
How did you all celebrate the big game? What did you think of the half time show?

Ahhh you will love Friday Night Lights! At least I hope you do. I'm watching it on Netflix & I cannot get enough! I'm watching slowly because I don't want it to end...
I loved those commercials, too! Any of the ones with dogs in them were a favorite!
Favorite commercial was the M&M one! And I am glad the half time show was better then last years! I was a little sad that I no longer live in Indianapolis, it would have been a great week to still live there!
Sounds like a busy, but fun weekend!! I was not a big fan of the half time show--I just thought it was a little too over the top!
