Labor Day Fun!

Thanks to so many great girlfriends, I had the perfect Labor Day this year! 

It started first thing yesterday morning with a trip to the Tanger Outlets with my Mom and Samantha. Samantha (my brother's girlfriend) had never shopped at the outlets in Mebane before, nor had she ever shopped with the two of us, so she was in for an adventure!

We had a great day enjoying the sales at Ann Taylor Loft and J.CREW. We may have even scored a few deals! After about one, when we were tired and starving, we jumped in the car and headed to a nearby Chili's for lunch. It was so much fun having "bonding" time while enjoying a table full of tasty appetizers!

Following lunch, we headed straight for DSW in Greensboro! I've only been in DSW one other time, but this visit, we were on a mission! Samantha, Mama, and I were on the lookout for these black booties:

 I've been looking for the perfect shoes to wear with a dress that I bought a week ago, and after enlisting some help from another blogger, (Thanks Emily!) I think these are the ones! Sadly, the Greensboro DSW didn't have them available, but I'm working on getting them from a store in Raleigh, and for 50% off! Keep your fingers crossed!

The fun didn't end there! When we finally got back home, I freshened up for dinner plans with some of my wonderful co-workers! We made our way into downtown Winston-Salem to eat at The Mellow Mushroom!

Then we headed to Krankie's Coffee, a first time for me! I enjoyed an iced mocha with whip cream!

It was an absolutely fabulous day!
