As I was looking over my blog this morning, this little piece of me, I realized that I'm in the middle of something right now, this "something" is what I've decided to call my "Soon to Be" Lifestyle. Let me explain a little more...right now I'm tying up one part of my life, but the other part hasn't quite started yet.
How does a person like me handle all these variables I have going on in my "Soon to Be" life?
I guess you prepare for it as much as you can & then enjoy the ride!
College graduate: On Saturday, I'm packing up everything in my little mountain town and heading back to where I call home. It wasn't my original plan to go back to living at home, I don't think anyone plans on that, but at least for a little while, I'll be enjoying early bedtimes & home-cooked meals with my family!
Working woman: That's right, Melody is joining the work force...well kinda. Exactly one week after my college graduation, I am starting the most fabulous internship and I'm so excited to get started. I will be an intern until August and then we'll see from there!
Blonde: Many of you have already heard about this on Twitter, but I'm going back blonde! 5 months of being a brunette is long enough for me! I'm ready for some fun and excitement in my life! While I loved my time as a brunette, there's just something about the feeling of short, blonde hair that I can't resist! This will be happening SUPER soon, so be looking for a post on that!
Part of a long-distance relationship: My boyfriend is also graduating this May and heading home for the summer, which means we'll be a few hours apart. We did this last summer also and it worked perfectly, so no worries! Come August, Jake will be heading off to law school for three years. It's going to be an amazing adventure!
Dog Mom: Waiting for a Goldendoodle puppy to get here is like waiting for Christmas morning! Hopefully the breeder that I've been talking about will have a puppy for me this December, so we can spoil her like crazy!
Does anyone else feel like they're in this "soon to be" stage?
I just got a little puppy...they sure are a handful!
ReplyDeleteThat all sounds great! Congratulations on graduation and the puppy :)
