I am so excited that I finally had time to sit down, relax, and catch up on all the new posts on the blogs I follow. Reading what each one of you have to say is one of my most favorite parts of my daily routine! So, even thought it's only Friday night, early Saturday morning-ish, a lot of good things are already in the works for this weekend.
Let's see...
-Jake and I decided that we are going to visit the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. Neither of us have ever been and I think it would be such a fun little day trip!

I did some research and found on their event calendar that they have Christmas decorations up from today until January 1st, giving us plenty of time to find a day to go:)
I love Christmas, Christmas trees, ornaments, traveling, lights, all food, new places, smells...you get the idea. I've heard all these things and more can be found at Biltmore, and I'm so ready to finally go.
Isn't it B-E-A-U-tiful!?
-I was able to have a nice breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants in Boone, "Troy's Diner", with Alpha Phi's educational leadership consultant, this morning.
-I had a hair appointment this afternoon! Pictures to come, maybe? I love getting my hair done, I go every 6 weeks no matter what so I always look forward to it. With that said, my hairdresser and I realized today that next year will mark 10 years going to the same woman. Crazy!
-I got to have a really nice dinner with my Mom, Dad, and Brother tonight at Red Lobster, yummy!
-My mom and I went shopping after supper and I bought a super cute necklace from Forever 21. It was only $7.80 to start with, but with the 30% sale on all jewelry, I got it for a little over $5.00. Yay me! I also got Jake a little something for Christmas:)
-After reading EVERYONE'S fall posts about the amazing "Pumpkin Spice Latte" at Starbucks, I just had to try it! So tonight, I gave in, and it was just as delicious as everyone described. I was so excited to get one, red cup and all!
Have a great rest of the weekend!
Hearing you say that about your hair dresser, I think I started going to mine in grade 9, making it 10 years of going to the same person, too! Wow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day you've already had!! I love Troy' Dinner! Every time my family and I go it is hardly crowded and I don't know why because it is so yummy!! I'm glad you have been able to spend time with your family and you got to try a PSL!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I've always wanted to go to the Biltmore House, too.. someday!
