Spring Break on the Brain!

I've lived in mountains of North Carolina for the past 3 years of my life. With that said, the feel of cold weather is nothing new, but snow on October 1st, seriously?!

Alpha Phi had their annual new member pledge retreat last week and we stayed at a cabin in the Valle Crucis area. That next morning around ten, it started to sleet and snow. I can't believe it's already started this year. I don't mind the cold weather at all, but I am so looking forward to spring! The flowers, the dresses, love in the air, all that cutesy stuff:) I've even started to think about my Spring Break 2012 destination. This is my last spring break before I graduate and hopefully have a real job, so it needs to be a good one.

Here's a recap of my last few spring breaks!

Freshman year: I really don't think I went anywhere, or at least no where that was very memorable.

Sophomore year: For some odd reason, I decided it would be a good idea to go to Panama City Beach, Florida...on spring break...along with thousands of other spring breakers. Looking back, I have no clue what I was thinking. It was definitely not my cup of tea, to say the least. Luckily we did get a few good pictures out of the trip though.

These are my friends Caroline, Jade & Olivia before going out one night.

Junior year: Myself and three of my sisters in Alpha Phi went on a cruise to Nassau & Coco Cay in the Bahamas. AMAZING. I had so much fun hanging out by the pool, eating wonderful food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and meeting people from all over! This is definitely a trip that I would recommend.

In order to live up to last year's trip, senior year spring break needs to be amazing! I have a couple ideas going through my mind...

1. I would love to go on another cruise, preferably with more people and to different destinations. We met so many people on our trip that were there with huge groups from their school. They had so much fun because they all were able to eat and go out together.

2. New York City! I've only been to New York once and that was when I was in 8th grade, so quite a while ago. I loved it then, and I think it would be even more amazing now, when I can really appreciate the city.

3. Any suggestions? Is there any place you've been that you thought was just amazing? I've got a full week to spend getting there and getting home. I'm looking for somewhere fun and worth traveling to for my last spring break!
