"The" Dress
The day of my 21st birthday is fast approaching and I can't believe it's finally here! I starting counting down when I had 178 days to go and now I only lack 22 more days. With that said, I've been searching for the perfect outfit...dress...whatever for months now! I had my eyes set on a Lilly Pulitzer dress that I spotted this summer, but with a full-time internship that paid NOTHING, its $328-dollar price tag just wasn't in my budget.

I wasn't too crazy about the sunshine print on the body of the dress but the top half was absolutely stunning. It was a sheer material, almost like what pantyhose are made from. It was adorned with tear drop gems and sequins that were so beautiful. We kept an eye out for my size and for it to go on sale, but it just didn't work out. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
Today, my mom and I got a fresh start and went to about 15 stores to look for dresses. I still didn't find the perfect one, but once I got home, I decided to order a Tracy Negoshian final sale dress that I'd seen online days before.

The dress that I ordered was much more in my price range and super cute. I can't wait to get it in the mail and can see how it looks. I've never tried on one of her dresses, so until then, it'll be a surprise for all of us!
